Modern Homestead Expo - "A Self-Reliance Fair" - Hohenwald Tennessee Prepper Show
Join us for our first annual Modern Homestead Expo! There will be over 80 classes featured covering topics including alternative energy, food preservation, gardening, permaculture, farming and construction tools, masonry, site planning, living off-grid, raising capital, homestead management, and healthcare/wellness. Throughout each day, there will be demonstrations on soap making, blacksmithing, wine making, and more! On Thursday, our featured speaker of the day is Sam Young. On Saturday, our featured speaker is Sheri Salatin from Polyface Farms. There will be a small entrance fee of 5.00 for each day, which can be payed at the door or through our website. |

WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING EXHIBITORS! Why vendors should come: This is the first year we are hosting this event, and it will be the start of something great. In Hohenwald, TN, and Lewis County, there are currently around 20 homes that are completely off-grid, including farms as well as underground bunkers and shelters. The homesteading and prepping community has grown significantly over the last year, and is continuing to grow rapidly. Land prices, seclusion, and the already-present idea of self-reliance in Hohenwald makes this area perfect for self-reliance. If you jump on board now, you will be able to grow with us alongside this event, and alongside the ever-growing prepping and homesteading community in Southern Middle Tennessee. Our expected attendance: We are expecting about 500 people per day to attend the event. We are getting these numbers from the number of views on our Weebly website and Facebook page, as well as the number of people who have responded "going" or "interested" to our Facebook event. Here's how we plan on getting the right people in the door: Through Facebook and our website we are intentionally using keywords like "self-reliance," "homesteading," "do-it-yourself," "prepper," so that people will find this event.
